Fire Risk Assessments in Hampshire

 A Fire Safety Risk Assessment is a thorough inspection of the building and its fixtures to provide the responsible person with any recommendation on fire prevention methods that may be required, recommendations to prevent the spread of fire and recommendations to ensure employees are protected and can escape safely in the event of a fire. 

Initially there is a site visit which is conducted by our Fire Risk Management Consultant, the site visit can vary from between 1 hour and 1 day, depending on the size and type of your premises and the level of risk. The site visit will include a thorough inspection of the premises itself, looking particularly at the means of escape, compartmentation, the fire alarm system, portable fire extinguishers and other general fire precautions which are appropriate to your premises.  Records will be assessed to ensure in-house inspections are beng conducted regularly and are being recorded.

Following the site visit a report will be compiled identifying significant findings. The report will also detail area of good practice throughout the premises. The report will show images as well as comprehensive descriptions on any significant findings which may be required to improve fire safety within your premises. Once you have received and read your report our assessor will be on hand to answer any of your questions.

Our Fire RIsk Assessor is very experienced in all areas of fire protection in addition to holding Fire Risk Assessment Qualification our fire risk assessor also holds qualifications in Fire Alarm Design, Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning as well as holding City & Guilds Qualifications in the requirements of electrical installations (18th Edition). Having initially trained at the Fire Service College in Fire Safety Management and Fire Risk Assessment, our Fire Risk Assessor regularly attends CPD sessions to ensure current best practice is maintained.
