Fire Safety Training

Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment Qualification Number 603/4907/4

This qualification is aimed at current safety professionals and will equip learners to carry out fire risk assessments in a range of  premises, either in-house or as an external fire safety consultant acting as a competent person  as defined by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005


The purpose is to allow learners to demonstrate that they are capable of carrying out fire risk assessments and have the under-pinning knowledge needed, at the required depth and to confirm occupational competence.

Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment Qualification Number 603/4897/5

This qualification will provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of how to carry out fire risk assessments in small/medium sized premises, either in-house or as a fire safety consultant acting as a competent person as defined by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005


This qualification is achieved using a range of methods, including online taught sessions, self study, witness testimonies, observations and work product.

Fire Alarm - Requirements of BS5839-1 (Design, install, commissioning & maintenance)

This training course will provide learners with a clear understanding of the requirements of BS5839-1 and is aimed at Electricians, Fire Alarm Engineers, Fire Risk Assessors, Local Authority Fire Safety Inspectors and anyone who needs to have sound knowledge of the requirements of BS5839-1.


This training  is delivered in the classroom and is assessed with a 

50 question (open book) multiple choice question paper.


The contents of this course satisfy the requirement of training for the 

BAFE SP203-1 Scheme.

Fire Safety Manager

This training course will provide learners with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the building safety manager under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005


This 1 day training course is delivered at your premises for up to 4 members of staff and consists of a small presentation followed by a practical undertaking of in house fire safety inspection which the building safety manager would be responsible for undertaking.

This training course will provide learners with a clear understanding of the requirements of BS5266-1 and is aimed at Electricians, Fire Alarm Engineers, Fire Risk Assessors, Local Authority Fire Safety Inspectors and anyone who needs to have sound knowledge of the requirements of BS5266-1.


This training  is delivered in the classroom and is assessed with a 

30 question multiple choice question paper.

Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection Qualification Number 603/4462/3

This qualification is aimed at those who intend to carry out fire door inspections as 'competent persons'. Specifically designed to enable learners to demonstrate their ability to undertake this work, these qualifications are suitable for both in-house fire risk assessors and independent consultants.


This qualification is achieved using a range of methods, including online taught sessions, self study, witness testimonies, observations and work product.

Fire Marshal (2.5 Hours)

The Fire Marshal Course enables individuals to have the confidence to react, remain calm and take charge in the event of a fire alarm 

activation within their workplace.


This two and half hour course covers the Roles and Responsibilities of the Fire Marshal, Common Causes of Fire, Fire Prevention, Fire Extinguishers (including practical extinguisher use) and an awareness of relevant legislation.
