To ensure the knowledge basis of competence to carry out Fire Risk Assessments in higher risk buildings in accordance with the new framework set out in BS8674, we have put together this two-day course to ‘upgrade’ existing learners who have previously completed courses and qualifications that align with foundation or intermediate levels of Fire Risk Assessing
This course is aimed at fire risk assessors who are responsible for validating fire risk assessments.
The course covers the importance of validation , rationale behind validation and the process to ensure suitable validation
This qualification is aimed at current safety professionals and will equip learners to carry out fire risk assessments in a range of premises, either in-house or as an external fire safety consultant acting as a competent person as defined by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
The purpose is to allow learners to demonstrate that they are capable of carrying out fire risk assessments and have the under-pinning knowledge needed, at the required depth and to confirm occupational competence.
This qualification will provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of how to carry out fire risk assessments in small/medium sized premises, either in-house or as a fire safety consultant acting as a competent person as defined by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
This qualification is achieved using a range of methods, including online taught sessions, self study, witness testimonies, observations and work product.
