Qualification Update

The ABBE Level 3 Certificate and Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment are being withdrawn from enrolment.

This is due to the new fire risk assessor competency framework being released this year (2025).

A new suite of qualifications have been developed that directly align with the levels of competency included in that framework.

The two ABBE qualifications have both been mapped against the intermediate level of the competency framework by the industry. 

Vraxis Safety Solutions has therefore begun to offer two alternative qualifications that have been directly mapped to the intermediate and advanced levels on the competency framework which directly correlate to the risk levels within buildings you should be assessing.

The two new qualifications we are offering are listed below

The Level 3 Award in Intermediate Fire Risk Assessment provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the fire risk assessment industry, and who work predominately in Low and Medium risk buildings.
